Most importantly, ask yourselves:

What do we want our guests to remember?

That answer becomes the foundation for your venue, guest list, budget, styling and overall experience.

2. CHOOSE YOUR VENUE & DATE STRATEGICALLY

In Sydney, your venue and wedding date are often intertwined.

If you have your heart set on a particular venue, you may need to be flexible with the date. If your date is non-negotiable, you may need to broaden your venue options.

And don’t automatically dismiss weekdays, Sundays or off-peak seasons.

They can open up availability, change your investment and sometimes give you access to a completely different wedding experience.

4. BOOK THE RIGHT SUPPLIERS — IN THE RIGHT ORDER

You don't need to book 25 suppliers immediately.

You need to understand which suppliers are critical to your date and your vision.

Typically, your venue, celebrant, photographer, videographer and other high-demand suppliers should be considered early. From there, the remaining supplier appointments can be built around your priorities, style and budget.
